Stelos 800 L comes with the broncolor Li-Ion battery, 88 Wh, 28.8 V with V-mount interface (item number: 36.170.00).
It can be charged via USB-C during use (e.g. with the broncolor USB-C charger 140 W, item number: 36.171.00).
Optimum performance can only be guaranteed when using the original broncolor battery. 

The use of batteries from other manufacturers is at your own risk.

Please note

After a certain period of non-use, the battery will go into sleep mode. To wake up the battery, briefly press the test button on the side of the battery compartment. The LEDs on the charge status indicator will light up briefly after pressing the button.

When orange, ¼ of battery is left, recharging time between flashes will be longer. When red, flashing is no longer possible.

Specifications

The 88Wh Li-ion battery with V-Mount interface weighs just 590 g (1.3 lbs) and allows more than 300 flashes at full power per charge.
Charging is carried out either with the broncolor USB-C charger 140 W (item number: 36.171.00) or any USB-C charger.
USB-C cable 3 m sold separately (item number: 36.172.00).
Fully compatible with Stelos 800 L.

Charging time for the battery (with broncolor USB-C charger): approx. 90 minutes.

As the capacity is less than 100 Wh, this battery may be carried in hand luggage (in accordance with current IATA regulations).

1. Charging Ports:
1.1 5-pin port: Support 33.6vDC/2A input. 1.2 Type-C:
1.2.1 Charging only, no discharge function. 1.2.2 Protocol supported: PD3.1, PD3.0, PD2.0, PPS, QC3.0, QC2.0
1.2.3 Maximum charging power: 65W@empty loading.
1.2.4 Type-C port’s charging rate will be automatically adjusted based on the loading on 5-pin port, maximum charging rate: 140W. 

1.2.5 DO NOT support 5-pin ports & TYPE-C charging simultaneously. 5-pin port charging takes the priority when both ports’ charging are taking, and TYPE-C port charging will be shut off automatically.

2. Button Definition
5-pin port will be malfunction when the battery is on stand-by or sleep mode. 
2.1 One short press on button to check power level or wake up battery from sleep mode:
2.1.1 Stand-by Mode: Power level LEDs light up for 1s, 5-pin port is opened for connection for 10 mins. 
2.1.2 Sleep Mode: the battery will be activated in 2-3s from sleep mode to stand-by mode, power level 
LEDs light up for 3s, 5-pin port is opened for connection for 10 mins.

2.2 LED lights & Power Levels:
One yellow light: 20%(24.20V±0.15V)
Two yellow lights: 40%(28.80V±0.15V)
Three yellow lights: 60%(29.80V±0.15V)
Four yellow lights: 80%(30.40V±0.15V
Five yellow lights: 100%(32.40V±0.15V) * Power level indicating in charging status: (LED lights up sequentially from left to right) * Power level indicating in discharging status: (LED lights up sequentially from right to left)

2.3 Short Press on Button for 3 times: the first LED will light up in blue for 10s, then press &
hold the button for 1s to enter the bluetooth debugging mode, and 3 LEDs will light up in blue.
In Debugging Mode:
A) One short press on button: to quit from debugging mode to stand-by mode. B) When Bluetooth is connected, 5 LEDs light up in blue. C) Once debugging finished, the system will restart and enter stand-by mode automatically.

3. Error Indicating
3.1 One Red LED：Charging error(over current). Red LED turns off once error removed. 
3.2 Two Red LEDs：Discharging error(over current). Red LEDs turn off once error removed. 
3.3 Three Red LEDs：Charging Over heat error. Red LEDs turn off once error removed. 
3.4 Four Red LEDs: Discharging Over heat error. Red LEDs turn off once error removed. 3.5 Five Red LEDs: Internal Error. (Red LEDs turn off once error removed).

4. Notice on the 5-pin port
4.1 When battery’s voltage is over 28V, 5-pin port keeps open and being active. 
4.2 When battery’s voltage is lower than 28V, battery will be in sleep mode and 5-pin port will be shut down if not being charged in 24 hours.
