The following illustrations familiarize you with the controls of the Pulso L lamp:

By fixing it in the rearmost position, you have both hands free to remove or replace the light shaper in a safe and controlled manner.

                                Cognition light

The cognition light serves the purpose to more easily distinguish individual lamps (with the use of LED colors). You will find a complete explanation in the chapter THE SUBMENU: DETAILED DESCRIPTION in Flash Mode

                                Manual focusing wheel

The position of the flash tube or the LED module in the light shaper can be infinitely varied manually ("spot" ß à "flood"). A numeric scale simplifies recording of certain positions or achieving exactly the same focusing on numerous Pulso L lamps.

                                Button "mod"
The LED modeling light switches itself on or off with a quick button press.

A long button press (only in "Flash Mode") results in the modeling light changing to the highest level ("full"), provided the current selection is "low" or "prop" (proportional to the flash energy). With a renewed quick button press, the current selection becomes active again.

                                Press/Rotary control

This control enables navigation on the display and is used to configure the Pulso L.

                                Button "test"
This function is only available when the Pulso L is used in Flash Mode. A quick button press triggers a flash from the corresponding lamp. Any special functions ("Sequence", "Delay", "Alternate") are ignored. This means that exactly one flash is always triggered immediately per button press.

This button is without functionality in the continuous light mode ("Cont.") and is also not backlit.

When the "test" button is pressed on the Satos generator, all connected Pulso L lamps trigger a flash.
