Occasionally, we were informed of a loud sound when triggering the flashes with Pulso G and Unilite lamps.
Hence, we would like to inform you more precisely on this phenomenon:
- the 1600 J and 3200 J flash tubes of the Pulso G and Unilite lamps are concerned
- the flash tube manufacturers receive differently doped quartz as raw material
- the glass of the final flash tube is mechanically more stable the purer the quartz is
- hereby, however, the sound is perceived also louder while triggering the flash
In summary, louder flash tubes do not equal a lack of quality.
