The Pulso L lamp may only be operated by qualified personnel who have read and understood these operating instructions in their entirety.

Keep children away from the equipment, even under supervision!

In case there are children in the photographic environment, they must be continuously supervised and access to the equipment must be blocked!

The device must be protected from moisture and humidity, especially cables and couplings of extension cables.

The Pulso L lamp is designed for operation in a dry environment and an ambient temperature of -10 °C to 40 °C.

The equipment is to be brought to ambient conditions (warm up or allow to cool down) prior to operation.

The air vents of the device must not be covered.

The distance between a lamp and the user, other persons as well as heat sensitive, flammable or combustible materials must at all times be at least 1 m during and after operation of the equipment.

Please use only broncolor original equipment and original spare parts. Any warranty claims shall be rejected when operating non-broncolor equipment.

The L40 normal reflector (33.115.00) must not be used with the Pulso L lamp.

The maximum lighting fixture cable length (with extension cables) must not exceed 20m.

Flash tube, safety glass as well as reflectors have a high operating temperature! This also applies to the front side of the lamps! Therefore, the attachment accessories used also assume high temperatures! Their handling requires utmost caution! Touching hot components can cause injuries!

The surface must be leveled and ensure a firm base for the device.

Prior to each operation, the device must be checked for damage and contamination.

The equipment must be protected from dirt and dust – during operation and while in storage.

Cables and couplings must be protected against tripping, stepping on and rolling over. In addition, protect them from mechanical exposure and against jamming.

Never pull the device by the cable.

There must be no free-roaming animals at the installation site.

The reflector is to be removed and the transparent protective cap is to be mounted for transporting.
- Safety gloves should be worn when replacing the safety glasses and flash tubes.

Allow the unit to cool down before packing it for transport or storage.
All protective transport materials must be removed. Before switching on the lamp for the first time, it is essential to remove the foam in the protective glass and around the flash tube.
Do not look into the light source during operation! Risk of injury to the eyes!
If the protective glass is damaged, the Pulso L lamp must not be operated.
