Satos power packs are powered with two types of slide-in components:
-
Slide-in power supply units
-
Slide-in batteries.
This provides high flexibility with regard to the use of equipment. Studio or on-location – Satos remains your reliable companion.
Satos 1600 has two slide-in units, Satos 3200 has four slide-in units.
Power supply units or rechargeable batteries can be inserted into the left slots, whereas only rechargeable batteries fit into the right ones.
Caution:
The slide-in components can be inserted with minimal effort. If there is any noticeable resistance, then a slide-in power supply is erroneously attempted to be inserted into a "battery only" slot.

Things to know:
-
Satos can be fully loaded with rechargeable batteries (ideal for on-location work or when the shortest flash recharging times are required).
-
If the batteries are to be recharged, then there must be at least one power supply unit inserted and the power cable must be connected to a power socket.
-
Batteries can be recharged faster with two power supply units than with only one power supply unit.
-
Satos 3200 and Satos 1600 can also be equipped with only two power supply units or one power supply unit without batteries, but this will increase the flash recharging time significantly.
-
Satos cannot be operated if no power supply unit and no battery are inserted – even if the device is connected to a power socket.
-
