                              • The Satos generator may only be operated by qualified personnel who have read and understood these operating instructions completely.

                              • Keep children away from the equipment, even under supervision!

                              • In case there are children in the photographic environment, they must be continuously supervised and access to the equipment must be blocked!

                              • Hazardous voltages exist at the light connections – you must not plug anything into them.

                              • Please use only broncolor original equipment and original spare parts. Any warranty claims shall be rejected when operating non-broncolor equipment.

                              • Satos must be operated in a dry environment (relative humidity: max. 80%, non-condensing) and at an ambient temperature of -10°C to 40°C (without battery charging or no battery present) or 0°C to 40°C (with battery charging).

                              • Protect the device from direct sunlight at high operating temperatures and adjust it to ambient conditions (warm up or let it cool down) before commissioning.

                              • The device must not be operated horizontally.

                              • The surface must be leveled and ensure a firm base for the device.

                              • The distance (open space) around the device must be at least 1m.

                              • Keep the power supply unit attached to the handle when removing it. The power supply unit surfaces might be hot if it is removed during operation with no cooling time ("hot plug").

                              • Satos must not be powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet).

                              • The air vents of the device must not be covered.

                              • Satos must only be operated with no dust cover. Protect the device from dirt and dust. During installation, the dust cover must be used.

                              • Prior to each operation, the device must be checked for damage and contamination.

                              • The device must be protected from moisture and humidity, especially cables and couplings of extension cables.

                              • Cables and couplings must be protected against tripping, stepping on and rolling over. In addition, protect them from mechanical exposure and against jamming.

                              • Never pull the device by the cable.

                              • Never reach into the plug-in slots or insert anything other than the original plug-in power supplies or plug-in batteries.

                              • The device must be taken out of service before cleaning if the plug-in shaft is dirty or clogged.

                              • The device must be switched off, the mains cable must be disconnected and the plug-in batteries must be removed in order to take the device completely out of service.

                              • The "Disable" function must be activated on the generator before lights are plugged in or unplugged or before devices are repositioned: Long push-button action on the physical "Master push-button". All connected lights are temporarily deactivated ("disabled") at the same time. Pushing the button again switches on all lights at the same time ("enable").

                              • Ceiling suspension must not be mounted on the handle of the Satos generator. Batteries or power supply units of the device may fall down. Safety-compliant ceiling installation is the responsibility of the user.

                              • The maximum lighting fixture cable length (with extension cables) must not exceed 20m.

                              • There must be no free-roaming animals at the installation site.

                              • Allow the unit to cool down before packing it for transport or storage.

This product complies with the safety requirements of EU Directive 2014/30/EU on the harmonization of legal provisions governing electromagnetic compatibility in the EU member states and complies with the limit values of EN 55022/EN 55032 Class A.
