In this section, each available function of the submenu is explained in detail.

With this arrow you leave the corresponding submenu or return to the main menu.

When a value is changed, it is stored in real time (even before you leave the menu).

                              Timing

The special functions "Delay", "Sequence", and "Alternate" are grouped under "Timing". These are explained as follows.

                              Reset:
With the arrow marked in red you can reset all timing functions to the default value at the same time.

                              Delay

Please set a value greater than zero, if you want to trigger a delayed flash.
The maximum value for a delay is 50 seconds.

                              Sequence | Interval

If you want to trigger a series of flashes, please set a value greater than one under "Sequence" (maximum value: 100).

The duration between two flashes, i.e. the interval (maximum value: 10s), you define under the "Interval" function. The default value here is always the current flash recharging time, depending on the currently set power (flash energy).

                              Alternate | State

"Ping-Pong triggering" of up to 12 units of broncolor equipment that support the "Alternate" function. In this menu, the triggering sequence can be determined, i.e. per flash triggering signal, only one piece of equipment or only a single lamp is triggered, while others are suspended or charged.

This function makes it possible to realize even faster shooting sequences.

Please define under "Alternate", how many pieces of equipment or lamps should come into use.

You then establish for each piece of equipment (or each lamp channel), under "State", in which position it should flash.

                              Example:

You want each of the three lamps connected to Satos to flash alternately:

                              Channel 1:   Active
                              Channel 2:   Wait 1
                              Channel 3:   Wait 2.

                              Cognition light

The cognition light is used to distinguish individual lights more easily, e.g. when they are controlled using the "bronControl" app. The allocation to a color results from the respective set lamp address:

                              Lamp address 1   blue
                              Lamp address 2   green
                              Lamp address 3   violet
                              Lamp address 4   yellow
                              Lamp address 5   turquoise
From lamp address 6, the colors start again from the beginning (blue).

You can switch on (“on”) the cognition light or leave as switched off (“off”).

You can download the “bronControl” app for free; it is available for computers, tablets and smartphones. You can obtain further information under the following link: https://broncolor.swiss/products/broncontrol

                              Lamp address

You can here assign an address for each lamp used (1 to 40). Lamps that indicate the same lamp address are then for example in the "bronControl" app, grouped together in the same group. This means that you can then simultaneously control all lamps in this group.

The lamp address of the corresponding Pulso L must match the broncolor RFS radio transmitter.

Please refer to the user manuals of our radio transmitters for further information on the subject of the lamp address:

                              Display

This submenu allows you to set the display orientation:

                              - "Auto":     The screen, thanks to a sensor, rotates 180° as soon as the lamp is upside down or hangs.

                              - "0°":         The screen no longer rotates automatically (intended for tripod mounting).

                              - "180°":     The screen no longer rotates automatically (intended for ceiling mounting).

                              Mode

Here you set whether you want to use the corresponding Pulso L lamp as a flash ("Flash") or as an LED continuous light ("Cont.").

                              Info

This menu provides information on the currently installed firmware versions. The Pulso L lamp receives the required firmware updates directly from the Satos generator (over a lamp cable). You find details in the broncolor Knowledge Database under “Satos”.
