Power supply operation
All Satos power packs are equipped with a multi-voltage version as a standard. The devices automatically align to the current power supply voltage. The Satos power packs provide a constant 1600J or 3200J for all operating voltages (100 - 240V).
Attention:
Please note that the modeling light's operating voltage must correspond to the local mains voltage (max. 650W at 200-240V resp. 300W at 100-120V).
Note: Broncolor has been supplying only 300W modeling lights since November 2019.
Satos must not be powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet).
Grounded power supply network system
Always connect the device to the power supply with an earthed power supply unit.
Device configuration
Insert at least one plug-in power supply unit or a plug-in battery into the slot provided for this purpose. The power cable must also first be plugged into the Satos and then connected to an appropriate power supply socket if the rechargeable batteries are to be recharged during operation; a plug-in power supply unit is required.
Please read the following chapter "Power Management" to learn how to configure your Satos device perfectly to your individual needs.
